Isaac and Audrey met in the summer of 2019 while they were both working at Grand View. Isaac was a counselor for the Blue Team and Audrey was the Head Wrangler at Triple C Stables. The strongest attraction that they had toward one another that summer was that they were choosing to give of themselves to serve God by serving churches at camp.
During that summer, Isaac heard about an online college program that Grand View offered through Maranatha Baptist University and decided to pursue a Biblical Studies degree while serving at camp during the semesters. Previously, Isaac had been pursuing a graphic design career, but he felt the Lord calling him to pursue ministry. Isaac and Audrey began dating that October, and continued to serve alongside the rest of the Grand View staff for the next two years.
In the fall of 2021, Audrey had the opportunity to continue her degree at Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa where she also joined the ladies volleyball team. Isaac switched to FBBC online while continuing to work at Grand View in 2021. Although they went through some relational turmoil during the long distance period, God worked in them and drew them back together when they served at Grand View in the summer of 2022. At the end of the summer, Isaac and Audrey got engaged, to which Isaac's guy friends responded by throwing him into the camp pond.
In the fall of 2022, Isaac and Audrey both took a step away from Grand View to attend Faith and continue pursuing their bachelor degrees. Audrey continued to play volleyball and became a Resident Advisor in the ladies' dorms. Isaac moved into an appartment on campus and picked up a job while taking classes. During that school year, they planned their wedding and got married right after the spring semester of 2023 on May 12th at Grand View.
As they continued to seek after God in the summer of 2023, Isaac pursued an internship at Southeast Valley Bible Church in Gilbert, Arizona, where he grew up going to church. While they did enjoy serving the Lord at SEVBC, the Lord made it clear that He was directing them elsewhere. In August of 2023, Isaac and Audrey moved back to Iowa to complete the final year of their degrees as a married couple while living in an apartment on campus.
In the spring semester of 2024, Isaac was offered a full time job at Grand View as the Relations Director. Following the Lord's leading, they accepted the position. In May of 2024, Isaac and Audrey graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College with their bachelor degrees. Isaac graduated with honors and received a Biblical Studies degree with an emphasis in Biblical Counseling while Audrey graduated with high honors in Organizational Leadership. That summer, they served at Grand View as Relations Director and Head Wrangler.
With her scholarships, eligibility, and strong desire to be a part of the FBBC Ladies Volleyball team for one last season, Audrey played volleyball in the fall of 2024 while Isaac worked remotely for Grand View, managing their social media pages, graphic design needs, and other areas of camp. He also worked for a moving company to compensate for part-time hours with camp. Audrey's team won their regional championship that season and made their way to the NCCAA national championship.
After officially moving back to Arizona in December of 2024, Isaac started working full time at Grand View in January of 2025. Audrey found a job as a full time substitute literature teacher at the local high school while also spending time volunteering at the Triple C Stables ministry at camp. Camp is allowing them to live in Cabin 37, a tiny house on property, while they search for a home in Eagar.
"God has truly blessed our lives. His fingerprints of grace are incredibly evident to us as we've seen Him work time and time again. We're thankful for the opportunity to serve the Lord at Grand View!" - Isaac & Audrey Glandon
